  • Weigh less now! (but don't ask me how)

    “EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!”

That was my initial (shock! shock! horror! horror!) reaction when I first saw this photo of myself. “Fat, fat, fatty-fat fatty!”

I weighed in at 117Kg’s then. Not even my 1,87m frame could disguise that! So I decided to do something about it.

Dieting brought me down to 102Kg in three months – but I wasn’t completely satisfied. My beer-belly (or “boep” as it’s called in Afrikaans) was still giving me a headache.

So I moved on to the next (lazy-ass) step: Annemarie Beukes’ Weight Loss Clinic. 5 weeks of electronic muscle stimulation later – things are looking a whole lot more promising! (Yup, I changed the color in the snapshots. I don’t want to give you arc-eyes!)

I lost a total of 54cm around my torso, and 2Kg in weight.

Yup, I now weigh 100KG and am aiming to bring that down to at least 98Kg. (That way I win a bet I made with a friend when all this started: a whole case of Heineken!!) *lol* Of course I’ll have to share the Heinies – in order to keep the weight off ;0)

Next 6 month goal: quit smoking!
